Started at the Park - - Pixels and Paper June 1st DT reveal

And just like that it is june!!! Where did may go?? With the beginning of the month means another challenge at Pixels and Paper!! This month is a very unique photo inspiration with criteria to use distressing on your project:


Here is my take, I was inspired by the old barn door, the colours and the idea of opening to a new life:

Holy moly this month has just been flying by!!!! My mom has been here for the last two weeks and sadly today we had to bring her to the airport so she could go back home. I will miss her a lot but I have a feeling my son will miss her even more!!!

Good morning everyone, can you believe it is already May, this year is just flying by!!! Yesterday we went to the city to pick up my mom as she is visiting for the next two weeks!!!! Here is May 1st sketch reveal:

Here is my take, I used pictures from my cousin's wedding last year from when they cut the cake:

And a couple of close ups:

I cut the bride and groom with my silhouette and then added some flowers and paint to give them some dimension:

I punched a bunch of hearts and then chalk inked them:
