You will forever be my always (330/365)

Hello, I'm back to share a quick layout with you. I haven't had as much time to scrap this week as we made the decision that I would go back to work (on a part-time basis ideally). And this week I've been busy going on a couple of interviews. I am happy to announce that starting next week I will be going back to work (on a part time basis YAY). It will be three days a week, which is ideal since I will still have two days to stay home with my son :)

Last night I tried to go to bed but since my husband was star fishing across the bed I decided to let him be for a while and got a layout done. This layout came together so quickly, I was so surprised, but I am happy with the outcome.

The background is a sheet of vellum I have had for over 10 years, I put it over a piece of paper I've had for probably 5 years - - love when i can use my stash by combining new and old!!!

I was inspired by Let's Get Sketchy Week 3 sketch:

Last noel at home (329/365)

this past Christmas was bittersweet because it was the first time in 20 years that both my dad's sisters came home for Christmas, but it was sad because sometime between Christmas Eve and Christmas day, my grandma suffered a stroke which ultimately landed her in the hospital on the 28th permanently. She is now in hospice and will be there for the rest of her life so last Christmas was her last Christmas in her home. These are a couple of pictures my aunt took Christmas morning.

I used Stuck? Sketches August 15th sketch:

in addition to DCWV papers, I used recollection embellies, dollar store stickers/washi tape, little yellow bicycle stick pins.

1 direction christmas (328/365)

next up is a fun layout of a friend of mine. She is a huge 1 direction fan so when i was boxing day shopping i found a 1 direction Christmas ornament at 75% off that sings!! I called her mom to make sure she didn't have it and then gave it to her mom that night when she came for a visit. These were the pictures her mom took as she opened it (she was so excited):

I used Scrapbook Challenges Sizzlin Sumer #07:

In addition to DCWV candy cane lane papers, I used bo bunny mistletoe flowers, dollar store washi, thickers, jillibean soup speach bubble, unknown brad and zazz glittler.

Celebrate the Season (327/365)

Next up is a fun picture of my son who wanted to say cheese at the Christmas Eve party.

I used Scrap Our Stash #30 which was a sketch and tic tac toe challenge:

I went with the top row and used a tag (snowflake), 4+ patterned papers, and stripes.
