i loved this sketch and as soon as I saw it I thought girly/feminine/pretty (which I don't get to do alot of the time since I mostly scrap my son) but thought i'm going to go for it and get messy and have fun. I am so happy with the way it turned out!!! Here is my take:
This is my wonderful cousin who is one of the bravest people I know and I absolutely love her!!! This is her this past summer while visiting family and friends in Powell River, BC.
to create the flourishes I used forever in time flourish clear stamp and ranger ink cleaer embossing ink and stamped the page a couple of times. I then put some stampendous pink embossing powder over it, tapped it off and then heat embossed it to give it a little sheen.
Supplies used:
papers: stampin' up (cardstock), authentique (radiant 6x6 paper pad)
inks: distress ink (picked raspberry), distress stain (broken china), lindy's stamp gang starburst (pretty in pink pink, tibetan poppy teal)
other: recollection (tag), authentique (radiant: components, journey: headlines), washi tape (dollar store), stickers (in my stash forever!!! love when i can use stuff from my stash!!!)
Thank you for stopping by, hope you can play along with us this month (there are prizes!!!): http://nblo.gs/11Q4vf
