Anniversary Canvas

It is my husband's grandparents 60th anniversary this weekend and as a gift I got a hold of their wedding photo (this is the only picture of the two of them on their wedding day!!), it was restored and I enlarged it to make it into a canvas for them to have for years to come (can you believe they don't have their own wedding photo??). I am so happy with the way it turned out and cannot wait to see their face this weekend!!

I wanted the photo to be the star so stayed very neutral, only using blue with the black and white (with a bit of brown). I am submitting this for Scrap Our Stash Challenge #28



P: paint, prima (flowers), photo corners
H: heat gun (to dry modeling paste), heart
O: oversized photo
T: tim holtz (stencil, crackle paint), tibetan poppy teal (mist)
O: overlapping
S: stamping, scallops
