Lovely

Last layout to share with you today is a fun layout I created of my son opening up a present I had won in a contest. It arrived right after Christmas 2014 so he was still in the mindset that every present is for him and since the prize arrived gift wrapped I really couldn't argue with him.

I am submitting this for a couple of challenges. First I am entering it for February Srap the Boys, I loved this sketch and thought it was so fun, and since the background reminded me of wrapping paper, I knew that I just had to play with it with this photo: http://scraptheboys.blogspot.ca/2016/02/febuary-challenge.html

I am also submitting it for 123 Challenge February Challenge. I used red and blue papers and elements to tie in the colours in the photo. It is perfect that Lovely is an element in the challenge because when my son opened the gift, he had no idea what it was (it was an Ott Light), so i took it out of the box and showed him how it worked and his response was "oooh that's lovely mom." So I had to enter it into this challenge.
