Owl baby album

I know I know it's been much too long since my last post and for that I am sorry. But my life has been a soap opera (to say the least), a friend who became homeless moved in with me, I started work, a friend who became homeless moved in with us, my husband walked out on my son and I for another woman, my health has been in decline (since stress is REALLY bad for my thyroid), my mom came for a visit, my son had his 6th birthday (superhero themed yay!!!), I abruptly lost my job since my contract ended without notice, I went and spent time with my girlfriends in Bonnyville, I started decluttering my house (since i don't need a three bedrooms with just two of us), I started dating (met some very "special" people, and one who has changed my life for the better - - - will be scrapping him soon since i'm making him a scrapbook album of our "firsts" for christmas. So yes some highs and lows so I haven't had the motivation to get into my scrap space but after baby being over a month old I decided I was finally in a good space and ready to scrap. So for the last couple of months, I have not been in a very good place physically and emotionally and over the last couple of weeks I have been really looking at myself and what I need in my life to make me the best Rebecca I can do, and one of the things I need to do is take more photos of myself. . .not only take more photos of myself but every photo i take of myself find atleast three things I like about that photo.

Canada 150: when my son and I went to the canada 150 celebrations this past july 1st at jubilee park in Spruce Grove we went into the photo booth. When i got the photos, my first reaction was to throw it out because I looked awful, either my eyes were closed, i was making weird squinty eyes or just looked off. But then I thought no - - this is me, I am not perfect all the time and that is okay!!!! So instead of looking at the terrible photos I look at the joy in our faces and remember all the fun we had that day!! Girl Birthdays

I am so behind in my scrapping that I am still need to scrap last year's birthday parties and we are attending this years birthday parties, so when i saw Echo Park's mini theme girl birthday I thought perfect this will motivate me!!!!!

Soccer spring 2017

We were super excited that we could enrol Kyle in outdoor soccer this past year, I always take tons and tons of photos and since we were busy opening a tattoo shop, my husband was often at the shop so I took even more photos so he could see how kyle was doing.

Soccer Practice: these were taken the very first practice where he got his jersey and learned basic soccer skills. I used Let's Scrap Augst 15 2017 sketch http://letsscrapsketches.blogspot.ca/2017/08/8-15-17-sketch-late.html

Professional photo: my husband and I were able to sneak away for a day/night but unfortunately that day fell on soccer photo day. I was so happy when my husband's parents (where kyle was spending the night) offered to take him for us!!! I am so in love with how this photo turned out, I ordered extras and gave them to all the parents/grandparents/aunts and uncles. Soccer Star: I don't know who was more excited kyle getting a medal - me or him (lol). I think kyle was a little more excited as he had to skype with both sets of grandparents when he got home and slept with his medal that night (lol love that kid). Disney princess sing-a-long

Last summer, my sister-in-law found out that there was going to be a princess sing-a-long concert, we were so excited since my son just loves Elsa. So one saturday we drove up to Plamondon Alberta and met my sister-in-law, niece and nephew and enjoyed an afternoon of singing, dancing, and treats.

I was inspired by the quote because Anna is beautiful and feels very out of place when the castle is locked up away from everyone. I was also inspired by the darkness/purple as well as the costume/makeup because these princesses were wearing lots of stage makeup!!!
