I was inspired by the hearts and negative space from PaperCrafting Magazine Monday Week #84:
Here is my take, I made hearts instead of circles:
Supplies used:
paper: colorbok (cardstock), authentique (crush 6x6 pad)
paint: tim holtz distress paint (festive berries)
other: studio calico (dots), authentique (crush: components), stampin up (piercing), sew easy (piercing mat), embellie (recollection)
