First up tonight is a fun layout I created of an egg hunt I did for my husband last year (Easter 2014). I put sticky notes all over the house (numbered) with a clue and cadbury cream eggs (his favorite) which sent him all over the house to find the next clue and at the end of the hunt was his big present (book and large sucker). He was so touched by the gesture that he wanted to put everything together and take a picture so i could scrapbook it (he is seriously my biggest fan!!!). Here is my layout:
I based this layout on April 1st stuck sketch, a wonderfully fun sketch by Laura Whitaker: http://stucksketches.blogspot.ca/2015/04/april-1-2015-challenge-and-guest.html
I was also inspired by the colours and themes from Papercrafting corner magazine monday #93: http://papercrafterscorner.com/blog/papercrafting-challenge-magazine-mondays-week-93/
Supplies used:
paper: authentique (promise: enhancements), simple stories (hello baby: adorable, so sweet)
silhouette w/ sketch pens
paints: tim holtz distress paints (salty ocean, worn lipstik, wild honey, rusty hinge, pine needles, mowed lawn, squeezed lemonade)
inks: lindy's stamp gang starburst (tibetan poppy teal), heidi swapp (color shine: peach)
sticker: doodlebug design (bunny hop), authentique (promise: diction)
other: we r memory keepers (egg hunt tag), doodlebug design (oh my words: spring; jellishments: easter), heidi swapp (stencil minis: words), liquid pearls (baby blue)
Thank you for stopping by and for your wonderful comments :)
