Crazy About Christmas - ScrapMuch? Februrary 6 reveal (27/365)

Good morning everyone, I am very excited to share with you this week's ScrapMuch? reveal. The amazing Laura Whitaker created this sketch:

I love working with this sketch and had so much fun creating it. One of the things I love most about Laura's sketches are the layers and this week i added layers with embellishments and rub-ons!!!!

What I love most about this layout (besides the photos) is my title. It is a chipboard title from A2Z scraplets. to create the title i painted crazy and christmas with Tim Holtz distress paint (festive berries) and then once it was dry, I covered up "about" and sprayed the two words with Lindy's Stamp gang starburst (rudolph's red nose). Once that was dry, i removed the paper and stained "about" with tim holtz distress stain (mowed lawn), then while it was still wet i added some stampendous embossing powder (green), shook off the excess and then heat embossed it.

I wanted to add some more texture to the layout so I accented the already there dots with liquid pearls (mint green, baby blue):

Close up of layered emebllies:

Supplies used:
paper: basic grey (blitzen collection: garland, poinsetta, tags)
paint/ink: lindy's stamp gang starburst (rudolph's red nose), tim holtz distress paint (festive berries), tim holtz distress pad (forest moss), tim holtz distress stain (mowed lawn)
flower: bo bunny (mistletoe petals)
rub-ons: paperbilities
stamp: amy tangerine
adhesives: xyron sticker maker, heidi swapp (scrappy glue)
