so much cooler in shades

It has been a very crazy crazy week. Last monday I went for my MRI, and when we got home my husband went to the ER, tuesday i went to work (still on crutches) and my husband stayed home. After work, I was driving to pick up our son and my car said my tire was low, so i drove to the local dealership who informed me that my tire had been slashed (yes while i was at work) and that i needed the warrenty number to see if they could get it warrentied so they put on my donut/spare and i went to pick up my son. My husband said he would meet us in town (since we live 30 minutes out of town and on a donut you can only do 40km/h so he was going to follow me home). I picked up my son from daycare and on my way to meet my husband, he calls me telling me he had 4 messages from the hospital and he needed to go in right away. So after a quick pitstop at 7-11, we went to the hospital and was admitted, we stayed for xrays and then my husband told me to go home and get some rest (left my car at the hospital and took my husband's truck home). I then got a call at 10pm that they were transferring him to Edmonton (three hours away)!!! Very little sleep that night. Wednesday i let the dealership know my warrenty number and got the news that my MRI came back and that i have no tears!!! Goodbye crutches. Wednesday evening i drop off my car and they tell me I will be covered under warrenty. Meanwhile my husband is sitting in the hospital being seen by doctors and specialists and no one knows what is going on but in the mean time are taking lots and lots of blood. thursday i get up and go to work, i then get the call that my car is ready so then i leave work get my car, pick up my son and head to edmonton. By the time we got there the surgery the doctors/specialists had been planning was cancelled because they didn't think he needed anymore and determined he had a variety of infection not normally seen that severe in adults so they didn't want to think that is what it was, fortunately he was released friday and now he is home!!!

So now that i'm done with crutches and hubby is home from the hospital we can get back to normal so what is the first thing i do when i get home - - that's right scrap!!! I needed some time to myself to destress and reflect on the past week so i spent a couple of hours scrapping yesterday and it feels fabulous!!!!

first up to share is a layout I created of my three beautiful cousins:

I used the sketch over at this month's scrap the girls:http://scrap-the-girls.blogspot.ca/2016/03/march-reveal.html

I was also inspired by this month's ScrapMuch? colour challenge: http://www.shopscrapmuch.blogspot.ca/2016/03/march-colour-challenge.html
