on the pier - ScrapMuch? colour challenge (layout 270)

I didn't know if I would get this month's colour challenge done considering I was on holidays for the first week and half of August and then earlier this week I fell down my front steps and landed on my ankle and wrist and I have been so sore that i've been on pain meds every 4 hours ever since. Today I was actually feeling better (i could stand without pain) so of course I scrapped a page while my son played.

Here is the colour challenge:

And here is my take (based loosely on savvy sketch #68):

Supplies used:
papers: stampin' up, echo park (summer bliss flip flops, birdie bliss, 6x6 paper pad)
journalling tag: bo bunny (lemonade stand: good times)
brads: unknown been in my stash forever
flowers: prima (paisley road)
chipboard: harmonie, and painted in tim holtz crackle paint (scattered straw)
banner: heidi swapp (colour magic: banner delights) and sprayed with lindy's stamp gang starburst (tibetan poppy teal)
punch: recollection
alphas: doodlebug deisgn (loopy love: blue jean)
other: WeRmemory keepers (enamel shapes: warm), distress ink (peacock feathers), jillibean soup (spicy social soup: die-cut cardstock)
