A day to remember - Once upon a sketch (layout 347)

Good news on the home from, I am finally starting to feel better that I am actually able to sit upright and update my blog with all the layouts I have been working on this week. First up is my entry for Once Upon a Sketch's november Challenge:

I was inspired by the simplicity and beauty of the sketch and decided to sketch a picture from my cousin's wedding this past summer (journaling is hidden behind the photo):

I decided to go with a simple black and white layout because i really wanted the picture to shine. There was so much love that day and i really wanted that to shine through.

Supplies used:
papers: color blok
flowers: recollection, forever in time
other: gesso, ranger (texture paste), tim holtz (layering stencil: dot fade), lindy's stamp gang (midnight rendezvous raven), authentique (crush components), pearls (forever in time)

Thank you for stopping by, hope you can play along this month at Once Upon A Sketch: http://nblo.gs/112TpR
