Thank you - LCOM #97 card

A couple of weeks ago my son had to do a gymnastics cookie dough fundraiser. Since most of our friends are also in gymnastics and our family is far away our pool of people who would buy was quite small so i took to local buy and sells on facebook advertising the fundraiser and i had a couple of ladies make orders. This week the cookie dough came in so i decided that i would make thank you cards for them and then have my son (who's three) draw them a picture of him at gymnastics (he drew circles in the card because he was rolling - - something he has learned how to do in gymnastics).

I took inspiration from Let's Capture Our Memories #97 card sketch by Laura Whitaker:

Here is my take:

The card is recollections (my husband bought me a couple of huge bulk buys cards one day when he went to the city for work). I sprayed Lindy's Stamp gang starburst (tibetan poppy teal) directly on the card. I then cut Fancy Pants (as you wish: this and that), the circle is the back of the paper using recollections circle punch. The tag is authentique (crush) which i stamped stampin' up tiny sentiments thank you in tim holtz distress pad (black soot). The flower is from my cousin's wedding a couple of years ago which she used to decorate the tables, where the smaller glitter flower is from the dollar store.

Thanks for stopping by and for your wonderful comments, hope you can play along this month at LCOM: http://letscaptureourmemories.blogspot.ca/2014/11/lcom-sketch-97-reveal.html
