dinner - scrap our stash challenge (layout 342)

I cam across Scrap our stash challenge blog this month and was inspired by this month's challenge. It is a sketch and colour challenge. Now as you  may (or may not) know, I am not a fan of colour challenges. . .however, they made it so easy because they gave us a whole bunch of colour options to use!!!! so much fun :)

I was inspired by the colours, not as a fall layout but rather a summer layout. Here is my take:

Supplies used:
paper: DCWV (melon twist stack)
flowers: recollections
ink: tim holtz distress stain (seedless preserves, broken china), lindy's stamp gang starburst (tibetan poppy teal)
alphas: doodlebug design (loopy lou: blue jean)

thank you so much for stopping by and for your wonderful comments, hope you can all play along this month with Scrap Our Stash: http://scrapourstash.blogspot.ca/2014/10/october-sketch-challenge-19.html
