Candy Time - LCOM #76 (layout 207)

This week's Let's Capture Our Memories sketch is by pagedrafts, I like working with their sketches because they are so busy and force me to use up my stash (yay for my horders anonymous classes).

here is this week's sketch:

And my take:

As soon as i saw the sketch i thought of the pinata from my son's birthday last year, the kids were so excited to see a pinata and were even more excited that they could all pull a string to help open it. And to ensure everyone got the same amount of candy, i pre-made baggies with the same amount of candy/treats in it and everyone got one bag (even the adults)!!

Supplies used:
paper: DCWV (celebration stack)
alphas: doodlebug, pebbles
die-cuts: k&company (sesame street)
bling: dollar store
journalling: authentique (diction)
wood veneers: teresa collins (hello my name is)
paint: tim holtz distress paint (mowed lawn)

thank you for stopping by, you have until the end of the month to play along for a great prize: http://letscaptureourmemories.blogspot.ca/2014/06/lcom-sketch-76-reveal.html
